DAY 1: MARRAKECH - VALLEY OF ROSES - DADES GORGES

This tour is available every day. Contact Morocco Tours Services for more info. Your driver will pick you up from your hotel, and then you will start your journey towards the desert crossing the Tizi-n-Tichka Atlas pass. You will visit the Berber village of Telouet and take a guided tour of the Kasbah of El Glaoui, former War Lord and Pasha of Marrakech. Afterwards, continue to Ait Benhaddou, to visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Benhaddou, a spectacular fortified village. After stop for lunch in Ait Benhaddou continue to Ouarzazate and Dades Valley where you will stay overnight for dinner and accommodation in a luxury hotel.

DAY 2 : DADES AND TODRA GORGES - MERZOUGA DESERT

After breakfast continue your journey. Pass a few Berber villages along the way to Tinjdad and Erfoud, from where you will feel the beginning of the Saharan oasis of Tafilalet. Continue to Rissani and Merzouga desert, from where you will ride camels to the sand dunes. You will spend this night in an equipped desert camp with drum music in the middle of the Sahara desert. You will climb a high dune to watch the sunset. Traditional Berber dinner is served under the stars. You will spend the night in a luxury tent.

DAY 3:  DESERT IN MERZOUGA - CAMEL RIDE - NIGHT IN CAMP

This is a complete desert day. “Sunrise Appointment”, if you are In the middle of the desert, it’s absolutely worth getting up early to contemplate the most spectacular sunrise that you have ever seen at the top of a dune close to the camp and enjoy this landscape that is a nature gift. After sunrise we return to Merzouga on the camels where a hearty breakfast is waiting for us. Then we will skirt the Erg Chebbi, great extension of sandy desert where we can find the big dune of Morocco, which has more than 250 meters high. Then, we continue by a road where we can see nomad settlements and learn their secrets and manners. Then, we will reach Khamlia Village, originally from Mali, where we will take a relaxing cup of tea meanwhile we listen to a concert of the spiritual music of Gnawa. Transfer to your luxury accommodation and free afternoon to enjoy the town or the dunes next to the hotel to see the sunset, dinner and overnight at your Hotel or at the nomadic private tent again.

DAY 4: MERZOUGA DESERT - ERRACHIDIA - IFRANE - FES

After breakfast we start our last day to the north through Tafilalt palm grove, the biggest palm oasis in Morocco. Here you will see thousands of palm trees along of 20 km. This way leads us to Ziz valley. We will stop at Midelt, just in the heart of the middle Atlas where you will have free time for lunch and rest for a while. In the afternoon we continue our way through the Cedar forests, where; if we are lucky, we will meet some Atlas monkeys. The next place we will visit Ifran city, situated in the northwestern slope of the middle Atlas mountains at 1630 meters above the water level. Its broad avenues, urban development with perfect cleanness, the green areas and its architecture make this city looks like a Swiss town. That is why it is named the Moroccan Switzerland, about 6 pm we arrive at Fes city, transfer to your Riad or Hotel, end of our services.
