4-DAY TOUR FROM FES TO MERZOUGA ,MARRAKECH

With following highlights :

(Middle Atlas, ski resort in Ifrane, Midelt , Erfoud and Rissani ancient souk ,we ride camel in Merzouga desert, we stay overnight in desert camp , Dades valley, Ait Benhaddou and Marrakech.)

DAY 1: FES - IFRANE - MIDELT - ERFOUD - MERZOUGA

This tour is available every day. Contact Morocco Tours Services for more info. Depart Fes travel through the Azrou Forest we will stop for a while to enjoy the Barbary Macaque monkeys. Continuing to Midelt, a town between the Middle Atlas and High Atlas Mountains. Then into sight comes the  Ziz Valley where the Ziz river brings to life many oasis leading us to Errachidia. Arriving in Merzouga where you will be in awe of Erg Chebbi, Morocco’s largest sand dunes, the rest of the day will be dedicated to witnessing the evening change over the dunes. Tonight you will stay in a local hotel.

DAY 2: MERZOUGA DESERT EXCURSION, CAMEL RIDE, VISIT KHAMLIA

After breakfast you will start the large dunes tour, stopping at Khamlia village to enjoy live Gnawa music, visiting Berber tents where you will discover a new scene of life. In the late afternoon you will start your camel trek into the middle of the dunes for an overnight camp in Berber tents and enjoy a delicious meal and live music by local Berber people.

DAY 3: MERZOUGA - TODRA AND DADES VALLEY - OUARZAZATE

Wake early to see the beautiful sunrise on the sand dunes from the tents or climb a dune for a better vantage point. Then return by camel to the hotel where you will have breakfast and shower. Then head off to Ouarzazate via Rissani where we will visit its traditional Souk, considered the largest in the South of Morocco. We will drive through and stop at the impressive Todra Gorges, which cuts through the High Atlas Mountains. Then on to Dades Valley and through the Valley of Roses. Arriving in Ouarzazate late afternoon.

DAY 4: OUARZAZATE - TIZI N TICHKA - MARRAKECH

Depart after breakfast, the first stop is at Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah the UNESCO World Heritage Site, a spectacular, well-preserved Kasbah fortress in Morocco. Many movies were filmed here such as the Gladiator, Game of Thrones. After lunch we cross the High Atlas Mountains via the highest road pass in Morocco Tizni Tichka Pass 2260m high offering impressive views of valleys with far-reaching views across the mountains to traditional High Atlas Berber villages. Arriving in Marrakech late afternoon. The private tour with “Begaa Tours” finishing in Marrakech.
